Nose :A bright lift of vanilla pod, orchard apple and warm honey, followed by golden cereal and a flicker of fresh pencil shavings from the virgin oak.

Palate :Soft, rounded and easy-going, with layers of butterscotch, crème brûlée, poached pear and malt biscuit. The bourbon casks bring vanilla sweetness and soft caramel, while the virgin oak adds a lively snap of spice, cedarwood and charred orange peel.

Finish :Clean and gently warming, with lingering notes of honeycomb, toasted oak, white pepper and a final touch of sweet wood smoke.
